Every Friday afternoon, meals are delivered to the Banff Seniors Centre from Origins in Canmore. To find out the menu and to order your own meals, contact Mary B. at 403-762-3529. MEALS MUST BE ORDERED AND PAID FOR BY THE BEGINNING OF EACH MONTH. Cost per meal is $10.00. If you are unable to pick up your meals at the Senior Centre, they will be delivered to you.
Public Swimming Started Monday, January 22. These sessions are monitored by a lifeguard. Note: Proof of Banff Residency must be provided in the form of a Banff Activity Pass prior to attending a public swimming session. Anyone with a Banff Activity Pass without a Photo on the ID Card must present a government-issued ID with a photo, along with the Banff Activity Pass card in order to access the Sally Borden Public Swimming Programs. To get a new Banff Activity Pass with a photo please visit Town Hall or The Fenlands during regular business hours and a new card will be issued.

Please help fill the schedule for the preparation, serving and clean-up of the coffee/tea/conversation and games time at the Banff Seniors Centre held Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Pioneer Room. Help for setting up, serving, and clean up at the monthly birthday party would be appreciated. Assistance is required for the delivery of meals form Origin on Friday afternoons. We need some competition for Reg and Terry at cribbage!
COME WALK WITH US Meet at the Seniors Centre (101 Bear St) on the third Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. The walks last up to 2 hours. Everybody welcome! Most hikes will be close to the Seniors Centre.
Sing or play an instrument – Everyone welcome. Practices: Wednesdays 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the James Boyce Room but watch for updates. bring along your voice, enthusiasm and instrument (if you have one). After singing, you can walk across the hall to the Pioneer Room and enjoy a delicious $3.00 lunch at the Community Table. Both events are guaranteed to make you smile!

Help Needed for Teatime The Seniors Society needs volunteers to help with the preparation, serving, and clean-up of coffee and tea from 2-4 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the d’Entremont Room of the Senior’s Centre. This is a wonderful opportunity to play games and engage in conversation with some of Banff’s inspiring seniors.
